Vacuum technologies

VACUUM BRAZING

Vacuum brazing is a metal-joining technique of various materials with low vapour pressure, performed inside a vacuum oven, that offers significant advantages in multiple fields of application: extremely clean, superior, flux-free braze joints of high integrity and strength.

VACUUM METALLIZING

Vacuum metallization, sometimes also called ‘Physical Vapor Deposition’ (PVD), used to deposit a thin metallic film on metallic, ceramic, glass and plastic material, with various methods by the Joule Effect, sputtering and ion implantation.

OTHER APPLICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGIES:

  • Vacuum heat treatment
  • Manipulation in controlled atmosphere
  • Design and construction of vacuum systems
  • Electron beam welding (EBW)
  • Metallization by electron beam
  • Vacuum welding (TIG) in controlled atmosphere
  • Degassing of parts and equipment intended for special processes
  • Detection of losses in vacuum
  • Detection of partial pressures of gases in vacuum systems

THE FURNACE

The company also owns an induction furnace for vacuum brazing, of the following dimensions:

  • height: 2000 mm;
  • diameter: 600 mm;
  • working pressure: up to 5x10-6 mbar;
  • working temperature: up to 1100°C.
