The company
New Radiant Technology Spa is an Italian company, leader on the international market in the development of IORT (Intra-Operative Radiation Therapy) technique applications based on the acceleration of electrons (ELIOT).
The Company was founded in 2005 by professionals in the field, it acquired the assets, international patents and production technologies designed by a team who has been working in partnership with ENEA (Italian agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economic development) for many years.
NRT invests in the research, design and development of innovative clinical technologies in the field of radiation therapy, becoming a reference for the world's most advanced research centers and medical facilities dealing with surgical oncology.
NRT consists of a team of professionals (physicists, engineers and mathematicians) and is supported by expert consultants on an international level for the development of treatment protocols (oncology surgeons, radiation oncologists and medical physicists).
NRT carries out its operational activities in Aprilia where the Scientific Area Park is located, which includes:
- the Research Centre
- the Production Plant
- the Technological Services Centre
- and the Training Centre.
The Scientific Area Park covers a plot of 17,300 m2.
NRT's aim is the constant development of radiatio therapy technologies in line with the Guideline Criteria proposed by International Scientific Societies.
The plant and Technological Services Centre have at their disposal two high-energy vaults and two state of the art laboratories with important production technologies for their activities and for services to institutions and research centres.
